Why Hire a Professional Wedding Planner?

There are many reasons why couples hire Wedding Planners for their wedding planning; less stress on the newly engaged couple, assistance with checking supplier contracts, sourcing through 1000’s of venues to find the best to fit your style and budget, but there are plenty more reasons to seriously consider hiring a professional to plan and create your perfect day.

Authors Bio: Vivienne May Weddings was founded and created by Kerrie May. Budgeting

Wedding Planners, like myself, are on hand to help with budgeting. Sticking to your original budget can be the most stressful part of the planning as it can quickly get out of hand with all those special little extras adding up! When you have a Wedding Planner looking after your expenditure, they know how to budget for each supplier and what percentage of your budget is needed for each.

Furthermore, we know the average price for each supplier category, we know which suppliers are providing great value for your money and also providing a high level of quality in their products/services.

A further bonus is that we can sometimes even save you money! I have a lot of couples who have ended up spending less than their original budget because of my expertise. Whether that’s reusing décor to save you doubling up costs or through organising delivery times that suit the suppliers better and therefore a reduction in delivery fees, I am on hand to bring you your perfect wedding with the best suppliers at the right costs for your budget.

Creativity & Design

Creativity & Design is at the forefront of my mind when it comes to creating your mood board. I love getting to know you both and adding your characteristics within the wedding theme or décor (as little or as much as you would like!) You want your guests to feel like they’re not just at any wedding, they’re at ‘your wedding’.

Having excellent attention to detail is another one of my main skills. I look at everything (and I mean everything!) From the favours, to the colour palettes, to the cutlery and glassware, no stone is left unturned.

Suppliers

Being within the Wedding Industry for a long time allows me to recommend suppliers that I trust and rely on to deliver on the day. This adds another level of reassurance for you both that you will be in safe hands and have the best suppliers for your wedding day.

A big part of planning your wedding is managing your suppliers, from discussing you wishes, their requirements and any necessary logistics, there is a lot of back-and-forth involved when liaising with your suppliers. When hiring me for my Full Planning & Design or Partial Planning, I do all of this for you to avoid you being bombarded with emails, texts and calls as I understand that you already lead a busy life and don’t need 1000’s of emails adding to that.

Organisation & Time Management

Organisation is key and like me, Wedding Planners are naturally organised people who can multi-task, think-on-their-feet and problem solve within seconds. There are so many elements to a wedding day and for it to run smoothly so you need someone who can juggle several plates at a time!

Part of my three wedding planning services includes creating a bespoke schedule and floorplan for your wedding day. This schedule not only includes every part of your day from start to finish but also the finer details. From your ceremony procession, to your Order of Service to your suppliers arrival times, no stone is left unturned when it comes to me planning your wedding.

Admin

As you can imagine there is a lot (and I mean a LOT) of admin involved with planning a wedding. Not only do you need to manage your budget, organise your suppliers and put everything in an order to be followed on the day, but you also will find yourselves sending 1000’s of emails throughout your planning to your venue, suppliers etc. With my Full Planning and Partial Planning service, I manage all communications with your suppliers and venue, all whilst keeping you in the loop but only with key points. This means you are kept informed and in control throughout your wedding planning but without all of the hassle and stress of sending multiple emails, texts and calls.

Available throughout the Planning

Included within all of my three planning services, I am here for you with whatever questions or advice you need from the moment you book until the end of your wedding day. Whether you need guidance on your seating plan dealing with family politics or advice on your bridesmaids dresses, I am with you all of the way

Etiquette

Whether it’s the order of your speeches, how to word your stationery, or how to announce you into your Wedding Breakfast, I am on hand with lots of etiquette advice to keep everyone happy!

On-the-Day Management

Having a Wedding Planner on the day leaves you feeling completely at ease and ensures your schedule flows perfectly throughout the day from ceremony to drinks reception, to wedding breakfast and beyond! It also means that you can enjoy getting ready with your bridal party whilst I manage all of your suppliers.

And finally, having a Planner means that you can enjoy your Engagement without the stress of planning a once-in-a-lifetime event. So sit back, grab the bubbly and contact me for more information on how I can bring your dream day can come to life.
